What is a life group?
A Life Group is a safe place for you to grow in your relationship with Jesus and others. We have groups all over Belton, Temple, Harker Heights and Salado for people in any season of life.

brian & aimee - Belton
Brian, Aimee, and their daughters have enjoyed growing as part of the Crossroads family the past three years as they’ve continued developing their homestead west of Salado. Both Army chaplains, they returned to the area after Aimee’s retirement and Brian’s transition to the Reserves. They’ve been married 14 years and love sharing life with others.

Sean and maile - Temple
Sean and Maile moved here in 2020 to pursue financial independence with their two boys. They have been members of Crossroads for a year and a half and Maile serves in the Kids' ministry. They are wanting to grow their relationship with God while discussing biblical principles behind money, savings and budgeting while growing closer to God

MINNIE - Harker Heights
Minnie has been in ministry for 40 years as an evangelist, teacher, author, conference leader and speaker in Africa, India, South America and USA. Minnie is a mother of four, grandmother, wife of a minister and retired military man.
We will study Inner Healing.
Inner Healing deals with the obstacles in your life including - rejection, fear, abandonment, jealousy, soul ties, idolatry, generational curses, anger, bitterness and overcoming them through the works of the Holy Spirit.

Jeff and felicia - Killeen
Felicia and Jeff are both natives of Central Texas. They will be celebrating their 6th marriage anniversary in October! They have a 5 year old daughter, Emery, 2 bulldog mixes - Liza and Lulu, and an orange tabby cat named Snow. Felicia and Jeff started attending Crossroads in February 2020. Felicia volunteers in the ARK Sunday mornings. During the week, Jeff works in electrical sales and Felicia practices therapy as a Mental Health Counselor. They are excited to be starting this new journey of leading a Life Group!

Steve and Juanice were married in 1984 and since that time have been involved in many different ministries with the local church. They enjoy connecting with people and seeing them grow in their walk with the Lord.

Cecil & Jill
Cecil is a licensed Foursquare Pastor who moved from Centralia, Washington to Temple, Texas. He was a member of the Pastoral Staff at Grace Foursquare Church in Centralia, joining the pastoral team in 2009 and retiring from full time ministry in 2017. Cecil has been married to Sandra Tibbetts for 55 years.
Jill is married to one of our associate pastors, Pastor Brian Grant. They have been married for 35 years and have three grown children: Spencer, Mickaila, and Samantha. They also have five grandchildren. Pastor Brian and Jill were lead pastors for over 20 years, moving into a missionary position in 2018 and joining the CRC staff in 2020. Jill currently works with children with special needs at Academy Elementary School and enjoys walking, flipping houses, and crochet.

Pastor Gretchen - Salado
Pastor Gretchen is a single woman who has walked with the Lord while raising two children. She now is "Gigi" to four grandchildren. She has served in mission work in Russia and a couple of other countries for the past 25 years. She has served on staff at Crossroads for 17 years. She is looking forward to studying the Word and building friendships in her Life Group.

Better together - marriage group
Better Together is a group that is focused on building strong marriages as CRC. We have four couples facilitating this session. Gary and Trudi Wagnon come from 20 plus year marriages that ended in divorce and in turning to God for His leading and guidance found one another and have been married for 6 years. Together the Wagnon’s share 4 children and have 3 grandsons and a granddaughter on the way. Daniel and Elizabeth McBurney have a blended marriage as well. The McBurney’s have been married 26 years and have 5 children and have 3 grandchildren. Jason and Kristy Smith come from 12 year marriages that ended in divorce. Both Jason and Kristy actively serve our country; Jason as a Non- Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army and Kristy as a Registered Nurse at the Central Texas VA. The Smith’s are a blended family with 5 daughters and have been married for 2 years. Randy and Jacqlyn Kodis have been married for 10 years and also have a blended family. This being Randy’s second marriage and Jacqlyn’s first marriage and together they share 1 child. Each couple represents what God can do with broken people. We each bring to the table testimonies of God’s redemption and restoration.
Join the Better Together Marriage Group to strengthen our marriages in 2023. We will be participating in the "Naked Marriage" series. This study is authored by Dave and Ashley Willis. They are a light hearted, positive, loving couple that still bring the Biblical message for Marriage. We also have two off campus family fun Sunday events this semester. We look forward to spending time with you and your family!

KEVEN & ANJA - Harker HEights
Life will always happen, we’ve dealt with and are dealing with tough things. Our hearts are for authentic Christianity because life is messy, amazing and unpredictable. God calls us not to do life alone, so we are excited to see what He will do in this group.
Get ready to get uncomfortable and transparent as we learn to see God’s goodness in our own stories, together!
Army brats turned, Army family! Keven and Anja have been married for 11 years. They have 3 boys: Isaiah (13), Luke (10) and Zechariah (7).
Keven is a Physician Assistant, and Anja homeschools the boys while also running her own business. The Faust family loves family game night, having adventures, being silly and going with the flow! Their current family prayer is to have a heart for people, like God does.

Drew and Chrissy moved to a family cattle ranch in Belton, Texas October 2019. They met in fabulous Las Vegas and have been married for 21 years. They have three teenage boys, AJ, Nathan, and Luke, ages 13, 15, and 17, and have been at Crossroads since November 2020. They desire for couples to join together to fellowship over dinner, read the Bible, pray together, and so have hearts and minds transformed by the Spirit through the reading of the Word.

Danny and Penne Marriage Life group
Married for nearly 38 years, Danny and Penne fell in love in college and have two adult children, a wonderful son-in-law, and one grandson. Danny is retired from full-time ministry and currently leads young men at UMHB in a discipleship program called 33 Authentic Manhood. Penne has worked at Dell for over 32 years in marketing, and serves on the MomSquad team at CRC. Together they are passionate about serving Jesus and living a life that will point others to Him. They have hosted life groups in their home for many years and believe life-change happens most in small groups.
Family Mission Statement: Treating one another as if they were Christ Himself.

Keila and Jerick have been married for two years and have two fur babies Kimber and O'malley Dude. You may find them on any given Saturday playing board games, out on the lake or at their favorite local restaurants. Both being graduates from Dallas Baptist University, they love incorporating Christ into normal day to day life in any way possible. People are their passion and being able to open their home to you would be a blessing.
